Thanks to everyone who made it to our oil heat advocacy session today! We had a great turn out, and discussed how antiquated oil heating systems are a drag on the operating budgets of housing nonprofits. Our hope is that oil heat will be included in current energy efficiency programs statewide, so that the massive heating burden on low-income providers can be lifted.
