Was thrilled to hear that a measure establishing an Oil Heat Energy Efficiency Fund was reported to the Senate Ways and Means committee as we spent last few years advocating and educating around the costs to homeless providers of inefficient oil burning furnaces. Many thanks to Senator Jamie Eldridge for championing this, and to everyone who helped along the way -Rev. Mark Seifried, interfaith partners, and friends. This is a great first step in getting rid of these dinosaurs, and helping the 32% of Massachusetts that burns with oil.
